We only use selected oak timbers for the manufacturing of our Cottage Planks “Villa”.
Widths from 16-30 cm
The particular – like centuries ago we lay the cottage planks in different (dropping) widths. The planks can be varied from 16 cm up to impressive 30 cm.
Lengths up to 550 cm
Not only the widths of the oak planks are unique but also the lengths are extraordinary. The maximal length of the planks is 550 cm. That is why we are able to cover the entire width of the room with our planks.

Three-layered structure
In former times cottage planks were manufactured out of one single massive timber board. Today we build our “Villa” planks according to the most recent technology, in a three-layered structure. Due to the fact of this three-layered structure we achieve superior protection against stretching and dwindling of the timber planks. This means there will not arise any joints between the planks.
Numerous custom built surfaces
The Speciality of Wimmers cottage planks "Villa" is without any doubt the variety of different surfaces to choose from. Sandpapered, structured, hand-planed, white, nature-style or dark brown, there is one surface for every taste or living style. As a protection of the surfaces, we treat the planks only with the best-quality oil-wax preparations.
